In My Mailbox!

In My mail box is a meme hosted by the story siren. It showcases what books we have received each week.

I bought 3 books this week:

The Dead Girls Dance by Rachel Caine

Summary: Calire Danvers has her share of challanges- like being a genius in a school that favors beauty over brains, dealing with the homicidal girls in her dorm, and above all, finding out that her college town is overrun with vampires. On the upside, she has a great roomate (who tend to disappear at sunup) and a new boyfriend named Shane... whose vampire-hunting dad has called in backup: cycle punks who like th idea of killing just about anything.

I have read the first novel in the Morganville Vampire Series: Glass houses. But I don't really remember much about it, except that I liked it, so I will likely have to read it again before I read this one. So expect a review for each.

Impossible by Nancy Werlin

Summary: A beautifully wrought modern fairy tale from master storyteller and award-winning author Nancy Werlin
In
spired by the classic folk ballad aScarborough Fair, a this is a wonderfully riveting novel of suspense, romance, and fantasy. Lucy is seventeen when she discovers that she is the latest recipient of a generations-old family curse that requires her to complete three seemingly impossible tasks or risk falling into madness and passing the curse on to the next generation. Unlike her ancestors, though, Lucy has family, friends, and other modern resources to help her out. But will it be enough to conquer this age-old evil?

Switch by Carol Snow

Summary: Claire Martin has some serious body issues.Ever since Claire hit her teens, electrical storms have been making her switch bodies. Usually she's back to her old self in no time. But when something goes terribly wrong, she finds herself stuck in the fabulous body-and life-of Larissa, the icy blonde beauty who has caught the eye of Nate, Claire's longtime crush. Will Claire ever figure out how to get her old life back? And, more importantly, will she even want to?

So that's what I got this week.... pretty decent. How was yours?

I know I really like the cover of Impossible too... it was released before and I looked at the cover of the old book and I didn't like it as much

I keep thinking that I need to read a Morganville book but I just haven't got around to it. I hear they are really popular though. Enjoy!
